Stephen Exton Peryman exhibition of ceramic constructions called " Barriers , Bridges..." at the state of the art Gallery Wax Jambu in Bangalow. The works spring from the notion that we can be aware and therefor not afraid. The Barriers that we set up can be bridged and a greater understanding can be gained. The works on display show a progression from lotus flower fridge magnets to aura like free standing three dimensional sculpture that radiate out like a halo. Many items on show display a functional base that supports a very decorative and evocative statement.
